FanDuel NBA: Tuesday Value Plays

FanDuel NBA: Tuesday Value Plays

This article is part of our FanDuel NBA series.

Tuesday brings three Game 5 matchups, one of which involves the Rockets trying to close out the Thunder at home. The Grizzlies are also taking on the Spurs while tied at two games apiece, which is one of the bigger surprises of the playoffs thus far. Let's take a look at some of the better players to consider for your FanDuel entry…

Russell Westbrook, OKC at HOU ($14,700): Westbrook's price is through the roof, but it's for good reason, as he has scored at least 63.9 FanDuel points in each of the last three games. Not only has he recorded a triple-double in each of those, but he also recorded at least three steals in each contest. It's tough to spend this much on one player, but Westbrook has been worth it.

Lou Williams, HOU vs. OKC ($4,900): Williams has scored at least 18 points in each of the last three games, resulting in at least 27.2 FanDuel points in each. He doesn't need a lot of minutes to produce, either, as he has played 32 minutes or less in each. This price is very reasonable considering his recent production.

Jamal Crawford, LAC vs. UTA ($3,600): You are need to save money to work elite talent into your lineup, so Crawford is worth considering. He carried more of the offensive load in Game 4 with Blake Griffin (toe) out of action, scoring 25 points in 31 minutes. Don't count on much in other categories, but Crawford can still score enough to be worth using Tuesday.

Kawhi Leonard, SA vs. MEM ($10,400): Leonard went off for 43 points in Game 4 and ended up with 65.1 FanDuel points in the contest. His play has been excellent in the series as he has scored at least 45.1 FanDuel points in three of the four contests. He's clearly the cream of the crop at the forward position Tuesday.

Zach Randolph, MEM at SA ($6,400): The power forward spot is pretty weak Tuesday, leaving Randolph as one of the better options. He has scored at least 32.6 FanDuel points in two of the last three games and at least 12 points with eight rebounds in all three contests. While he doesn't block many shots, he's a double-double threat on a nightly basis.

Andre Roberson, OKC at HOU ($5,800): Yes, Roberson was dreadful from the charity stripe in Game 4. However, he has played well in the series with at least 28.8 FanDuel points in each game. His defensive numbers have been outstanding, too, as he has at least two steals and two blocks in each contest. Even if he gets pulled late in the game to avoid another free-throw disaster, he should still be worth playing at this price.

Marc Gasol, MEM at SA ($7,900): Gasol continues to put up steady production, as he has scored at least 31.4 FanDuel points in three of the four games in this series. He is the third most expensive option at center Tuesday behind Rudy Gobert ($9,700) and DeAndre Jordan ($8,400), but he should be able to at least match their production on the evening at a cheaper price. Unless you want to go cheap at the position, Gasol can provide plenty of value.

Steven Adams, OKC at HOU ($5,300): Adams was excellent in Game 4 as he scored 18 points to go along with seven rebounds, two assists, three blocks and one steal in 37 minutes. He hadn't done much before that game, but none of the centers in this price range are going to put up big numbers on a nightly basis. While it's hard to expect him to score that much again Tuesday, he can still provide value with rebounds and defensive stats.
