FanDuel NBA: Wednesday Value Plays

FanDuel NBA: Wednesday Value Plays

This article is part of our FanDuel NBA series.

Wednesday night brings two games on the NBA schedule as the Cavaliers try to take a 2-0 series lead at home against the Raptors, while the Rockets try to steal another game on the road against the Spurs. Let's get right down to business and look at some of the better options available for your FanDuel entry.

Kyrie Irving, CLE vs. TOR ($9,000): Irving posted a double-double in Game 1 on his way to 42.4 FanDuel points. He has been excellent in the playoffs so far as he has scored at least 37.4 FanDuel points in four of his five games. While it will be hard for him to match the 10 assists that he recorded in Game 1, he can still provide enough scoring to be a valuable option again Wednesday.

Kyle Lowry, TOR at CLE ($8,600): The Cavaliers struggled to defend point guards all season as they allowed the eighth-most FanDuel points per game against the position. Lowry continued that trend in Game 1 of this series as he scored 37.9 FanDuel points. He has played at least 40 minutes in three of his last four games, so don't expect him to slow down Wednesday with the Raptors in desperate need of a win.

Lou Williams, HOU at SA ($4,900): Williams was fairly quiet in Game 1 as he scored 17.6 FanDuel points in 23 minutes. He can get hot at any time, though, even against a strong defensive team in the Spurs. He was excellent in the first round against the Thunder, scoring at least 18 points in four of the five games in the series. He's cheap enough Wednesday to give him a shot at increasing his scoring output from Game 1.

Kawhi Leonard, SA vs. HOU ($10,900): The Spurs were blown out in Game 1, but that didn't stop Leonard from scoring 44.2 FanDuel points in 32 minutes. He's had some impressive offensive performances in the playoffs thus far, having scored at least 28 points in five of six games in the first round. Look for another highly productive evening in Game 2 with the Spurs looking to avoid falling behind 0-2.

Serge Ibaka, TOR at CLE ($6,200): Ibaka was not overly impressive in Game 1 as he only scored 25.7 FanDuel points. However, he had a solid first round series against the Bucks, scoring at least 30.1 FanDuel points in four of the six games. While you shouldn't expect a huge offensive performance, he can do enough in multiple categories to be worth playing at this price.

Ryan Anderson, HOU at SA ($4,600): Anderson was excellent in Game 1 as he scored 31.7 FanDuel points in 35 minutes. While his 14 points were solid, he padded his line with two steals and one block to go along with six rebounds. He can be a streaky shooter, but he's worth trying at this cheap price Wednesday given the limited options from which to select.

Clint Capela, HOU at SA ($6,200): Capela was a monster in Game 1 as he scored 20 points to go along with 13 rebounds in only 25 minutes. While that is a tough line for him to match in Game 2, he can still produce in limited minutes as he averaged 12.6 points and 8.1 rebounds in only 24 minutes per game this season. There aren't great options to choose from at center, making Capela one of the best available.

Tristan Thompson, CLE vs. TOR ($5,700): Thompson posted his first double-double of the playoffs in Game 1 on his way to 34.8 FanDuel points. The Raptors were a mess up front as Jonas Valanciunas really struggled. Thompson is not much of an offensive threat, but he has grabbed at least 10 rebounds in all five postseason games. He is right up there with Capela in terms of viable center options Wednesday.
