Gibson will come off the bench, but will still be a focal part of the Bulls' offense and is likely to see most of the fourth quarter minutes at the four again this season, the Chicago Tribune's K.C. Johnson reports. "Taj was probably our best fourth-quarter player last year," coach Tom Thibodeau said. "We're going to finish with the guys who give us the best chance to win. ... We have three guys that I know we can finish with. I'm going to ask them all to sacrifice."
Gasol will start for the Bulls this season, and should see plenty of minutes despite the presence of Taj Gibson off the bench, the Chicago Tribune's K.C. Johnson reports. "Pau is a worker," coach Tom Thibodeau said. "We were talking about his experience with the Lakers and with Phil (Jackson), they didn't have very many days off. He played a lot of minutes, and that's what he is used to. He's used to 37 minutes a game."
Noah (knee) hopes that he's unlimited during training camp following arthroscopic surgery on his left knee on May 1. "It's going to be a grueling season," he said Monday. "This is the first time I've had surgery on my knee. I'm hoping there are no limitations."
