| RIP, Mr. Dodger Dog |
| Thomas Gregory Arthur, inventor of the Dodger Dog, has died. He was 84.
I've had dogs from a lot of ballparks and the Dodger Dog still hasn't been beat. MLB should put Thomas Gregory Arthur in the Hall of Fame. His is a real contribution to baseball. Dodger Dogs are part of the lore of one of baseball's most storied franchises. And it's all thanks to a man with three first names -- Thomas Gregory Arthur.
RIP, Mr. Dodger Dog.

| Pulling a Lou Piniella |
| If you read the story about Asheville Tourists manager Joe Mikulik going absolutely nuts at a recent game, check out the video. The article alone just doesn't do it justice. It's not that he did anything more crazy then the best manager temper tantrums of all time, but it's that he carried it on for so long, coming back out of the dugout for more action. This guy had major breakdown.
And here's video of the play in question. You be the judge.

| Bad Acting Award |
| This video, courtesy of YouTube, is going around the Internet. Basically, an Arkansas baseball player tries to fool everyone into thinking he got hit by the pitch. It's a crack up. If the guy is a drama major then Arkansas' drama program sucks.
