Is Jimmy Smith a Hall of Famer? His stats are better than any wide receiver in Canton. He doesn't feel like a Hall of Famer. Football is less stats driven than baseball -- there aren't any magic numbers like 500, 3,000 or 300 that give you a free pass -- but how do stats figure in in this case? Are they enough even though Smith wasn't the best receiver of his era?
