Havlat has gotten his way, albeit in an incredibly obvious salary and baggage dump by the Ottawa Senators. The talented but selfish (and smug) winger was flipped to the Hawks in a three-way deal, and then he IMMEDIATELY inked a three-year, $18 million deal. That's a lot of coin for a guy with limited experience and coming off a near season-long injury. Remember, he had flat-out refused to sign anything more than a one-year deal citing the burning desire to be paid appropriately on the open market come next summer. I wonder which Havlat shows up in the Windy City? The brilliantly talented guy with 100-point potential or the crotch-kicking Zidane-like numbskull who can't keep his emotions in check. And the Hawks thought they removed the immature, petulant little boy from their squad when they traded Tyler Arnason to the Sens. Perhaps this is a what-goes-around-comes-around deal for them??? Great player, bad attitude. But really, do fantasy owners give a hoot? He's the go-to offensive guy in Chicago now, not a third-string right winger as he was in Ottawa. And that means money in the bank for you and I.
