Johnny Miller was the best part of the U.S. Open on Sunday. He didn't sugarcoat anything as Mickelson was choking on 18. He noted almost immediately that Mickelson was setting himself up for trouble by not playing it safe on the last hole with a one-stroke lead. And he reiterated how poor Mickelson's shot selection was. Miller's candor is refreshing. Ex-jocks seem to go out of their way to make excuses for players. Miller certainly didn't Sunday. Too bad he can't do other sports.
