Great news for the fantasy world today: A judge ruled in favor of CDM in its lawsuit against MLB. The long and short of it is that fantasy operations can use player names and statistics without licensing agreements. The ruling, if it's not overturned on appeal, potentially has a wider impact than just fantasy world, too.

Reading into this case makes me about as perturbed as trying to access this site on an outdated computer with dial up internet.(incredibly frustrating but worth the time)
