It doesn't take much to read between the lines of Seattle GM Bill Bavasi as the Mariners are mired in a 20-game losing steak to division opponents:
"It's difficult to swallow," Bavasi said. "I've seen teams do this, but they usually have less ability, in my opinion. There's some serious underachieving going on."
Bavasi might want to look over his shoulder, though, that M's ownership doens't whack 'em both at the same time.
