Artis has been dismissed from the Duck's basketball team, ESPN's Jeff Goodman reports.

Artis was already expected to transfer, but now it is known this was due his involvement in a recent rape investigation. Neither Artis nor his two teammates also involved in the case will be charged due to insufficient evidence, however he likely will not have much interest as he looks for a team to transfer to.

Artis averaged just 4.1 points and 2.2 assists after seeing his minutes cut from 23.8 per game as a freshman to 16.9 as a sophomore last season. With two years of eligibility remaining, the point guard will now look to play elsewhere.
