Tharpe scored 22 points (9-13 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 0-1 FT) with four assists and five rebounds in Tuesday's game against Baylor.

Tharpe picked up the slack in the lineup for the Jayhawks as teammates Joel Embiid and Andrew Wiggins struggled shooting. He was efficient shooting from the field and led the way in the victory over Baylor. As one of the more experienced players on the floor, he could be a more consistent scoring threat as the season progresses.

Tharpe notched his first double-double of the season Wednesday by scoring 12 points (3-7 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 4-4 FT) and dishing 12 assists. He also added six rebounds and a steal to fill out his stat line.

The Junior is on the verge of his best season so far at Kansas now that he is a bonafide starter. The 12 assists he posted in this game are a season high, however on such a talented team, Tharpe likely will not have the ball in his hands enough to replicate this performance often.
