Portis is leaning towards returning to Arkansas for his junior year, Bob Holt of the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reports.

The 2015 SEC player of the year had a great season, finishing with 17.5 points and 8.9 rebounds per game. If he does return next season, Arkansas could be a legitimate threat to claim the SEC championship, while Portis himself would be the favorite to claim the player of the year award again, along with being the number one overall pick in SEC-only fantasy drafts. Keep in mind that this quote came just after Portis had lost in the NCAA tournament, and his stance could change as he could be a mid to late first round pick in the NBA draft come June.
