Johnson will transfer from Pittsburgh and become immediately eligible, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.

Johnson hasn't played since January of 2014 due to a torn ACL and a season-long suspension, but was a solid contributor when he was last on the floor. The forward figures to have the opportunity to work his way into the starting lineup wherever he lands, provided his health holds up and off-the-court issues are behind him.

Johnson has been suspended for the entire 2014-15 season, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.

Pittsburgh was without the now junior for half of last season as he suffered a torn ACL. It's still unclear as to why Johnson has been suspended for the upcoming season, although he'll be sidelined nonetheless.

Johnson had 19 points on 7-of-10 shooting in Friday's exhibition game against Philadelphia University.

Johnson cashed in an efficient performance off the bench, and ended up with the second highest scoring total on the team behind forward Michael Young. Although Johnson will likely come off the bench in 2014-15, he appears to be over the significant knee injury that prematurely ended his 2013-14 campaign.

Johnson will miss the remainder of the 2013-14 season after suffering a torn ACL Saturday against Wake Forest, the Associated Press reports.

Johnson had been Pitt's go-to guy off the bench, averaging 8.8 points and 3.0 rebounds on the season while embracing the sixth man role. After rehab, he'll look to pick up where he left off in his junior season, with eyes likely on a starting role.
