The fact that Motley didn't hire an agent means he's leaving the option to return to Baylor for his final year of collegiate eligibility. Motley did, however, undergo surgery for a torn MCL just recently and was given a four-to-six week timetable for a return, so it remains to be seen if he'll be healthy enough to participate in drills during the 2017 NBA Draft Combine, which is held May 3 to May 14. At the least, Motley will likely attend the combine for measurements and to undergo interviews with NBA teams to see where he could be drafted. Motley had a monster junior campaign with averages of 17.3 points, 9.9 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.1 blocks across 30.5 minutes.
