Shine announced earlier this month that he would forgo his senior season at Oklahoma State and turn pro, Brian Brinkley of KFOR-TV Oklahoma City reports.
ANALYSIS
The writing was on the wall for Shine to end his playing career after he took part in Oklahoma State's Senior Day on March 3, but he's now made it official that he will move on from Oklahoma State. Since Shine redshirted during the 2016-17 campaign due to injury, he would have had the option to return to Stillwater for a fifth season in 2018-19. The 6-foot-6 forward enjoyed the best season of his collegiate career as a junior, averaging 9.7 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.3 three-pointers in 25.7 minutes per contest. It's unclear whether or not he plans to pursue professional opportunities overseas.
