The graduate transfer from UNC-Wilmington stepped into the Scarlet Knights' starting lineup immediately upon arriving on campus, and he's responded with increased production. Gettys has the highest shooting percentage of his collegiate career (59.2 percent) and career highs in points and assists. However, he doesn't take very many shots and sometimes loses playing time due to turnover issues, which keeps his ceiling fairly low. He'll need to step up if Rutgers wants a chance to beat a scuffling Iowa squad Tuesday night.
