Hardaway Jr. has decided to forgo his senior season and make himself eligible for the 2013 NBA draft, the AP reports. He averaged 14.5 points and 4.7 rebounds per game as a junior.

Hardaway could sneak into the first round of the draft. He doesn't excel in any one area, but he hit 37.4 percent from deep and averaged at least 13.9 points in each of his three seasons in Ann Arbor. At 6-6, he has NBA size for a shooting guard.

Hardaway Jr. knocked down just 5-of-14 shots, including two from beyond the arc, and 2-of-4 free throws to account for his scoring. According to the Detroit Free Press, he had this to say after the loss: "I'm not worried about the NBA. I'm worried about next season at Michigan and worried about this team and get us back to here and not end the way we ended today." Expect Hardaway Jr. to play his junior season with the Wolverines in the fall of 2012.
