Faust had a team-high 26 points (8-22 FG, 4-13 3Pt, 6-7 FT) and five rebounds Tuesday against Washington. He also had three assists and two steals.

Faust's 22 attempts from the field and his 13 attempts from 3-point territory were his highest marks in both categories since January 28. Just as it did in that game, this confidence resulted in strong offensive production for the senior guard on Tuesday. While it was not his most efficient game of the season, his 26 points continued a streak of seven impressive games in which he has averaged 20.7 points per game. Faust's scoring average for the season is now 17.4 points per game.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Faust had a team-high 17 points (6-13 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 3-4 FT) and a team-high eight rebounds Saturday against Hawaii. He also had two assists and two steals.

Faust put together an impressive Big West tournament performance by averaging 17.7 points per game and 7.7 rebounds per game over the course of three games. His eight 3-pointers in the tournament matched his total from his previous six games combined. The senior guard finished the tournament as the conference's second-best scorer by averaging 17.1 points per game on the season, and he has averaged 6.1 rebounds per game.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Faust had a team-high 30 points (9-18 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 9-11 FT) and a team-high eight rebounds Wednesday against Cal State-Fullerton. He also had two steals.

Faust had not been playing up to his own impressive offensive standards recently, but Wednesday's performance broke that streak. Part of his success was a result of his field-goal percentage, which met the 50.0-percent mark for the first time since the game against Cal State-Northridge on February 6. He also made more than two 3-pointers for the first time since the end of January. Faust is now averaging 17.0 points per game, and his eight rebounds brought his average in that category to 5.9 rebounds per game.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Faust had a team-high 14 points (5-14 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 3-6 FT) Saturday against Cal State-Fullerton. He also had five rebounds, three assists and three steals.

This was not Faust's best offensive game of the season, but he was solid nonetheless. He made up for his point total, which was lower than his personal average, by recording solid marks in other major statistical categories. The senior guard is now averaging 17.1 points per game on the season, good for one of the best scoring averages in the Big West.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Faust had a team-high 28 points (10-16 FG, 5-8 3Pt, 3-4 FT) and a team-high 14 rebounds Saturday against Hawaii. He also had three steals.

Faust has scored a combined 62 points in his last two games for his best two-game stretch of the season. He is now averaging 16.8 points per game over the course of his 23 games. He has only failed to record a double-digit point total in one game this season and was far from doing so on Saturday.

January 7, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Faust had a team-high 28 points (10-for-14 from the field, 7-for-8 from 3-point territory) and a team-high 12 rebounds Wednesday against Cal State-Northridge.

Faust continued to prove himself as one of the best scorers in the Big West, this time demonstrating his range. It was his most impressive and most efficient performance of the season from beyond the arc, and his overall field-goal percentage of 71.4 percent was also a season-high figure. The senior guard is not only leading his team in scoring (16.4 points per game) but is also leading the 49ers in rebounding (5.8 rebounds per game).

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Faust had a team-high 17 points (6-for-9 from the field) Tuesday against Arizona. He also had three rebounds and two blocks.

The senior guard continued an impressive season-opening streak by recording a double-digit point total for the fourteenth consecutive game. In those fourteen games, he has averaged 16.1 points per game, and that high scoring average has been aided by his 39.1-percent 3-point shooting. At this point, Faust is one of the most reliable picks you can find in terms of offensive production, and he shows no signs of slowing down.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Faust had a team-high 14 points (7-for-13 from the field) Wednesday against Pepperdine. He also had six rebounds.

It was another double-digit scoring performance from Faust, who has yet to score in the single digits through eleven games this season. He continues to stand in the upper echelon of scorers in the Big West with his 16.7 points per game. That, combined with with his average of 5.3 rebounds per game, make the senior guard a very safe pick with the potential to explode for strong offensive production against Tampa Saturday.
