Hinds will transfer to UMass, reports.

Hinds, who averaged 7.4 points and 1.6 assists in 23 minutes per game last season at West Virginia, ultimately chose UMass over St. Joe's. He will be forced to sit out the upcoming season due to NCAA rules but will be eligible to play during the 2014-15 season.
