Jacobs had 10 points (4-9 FG, 2-2 FT), 10 rebounds and two blocks in Monday's NIT victory over South Carolina.

Jacobs had been on a bit of a cold streak since the start of the ACC tournament, but finished with his second double-double of the season in just 22 minutes on the court. He and Charles Mitchell are the leading candidates for minutes in the post on this year's squad, though predicting which one will have the better statistical performance on a given night certainly hasn't gotten any easier.

With Denzel Valentine still sidelined, Eron Harris has stepped into the starting lineup and provides excellent value for Saturday's DraftKings slate.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Jacobs recorded six points (3-3 FG) and three rebounds in 21 minutes Wednesday versus Florida State.

After a seven-game streak of scoring in double figures, including a 20-point outburst against NC State on Jan. 27, Jacobs has now scored less than 10 points in three of his past four games. Meanwhile, the likes of senior guards Marcus Georges-Hunt and Adam Smith have taken more of an offensive responsibility, showcased by their combined 52 points in this tight contest with Florida State. Furthermore, fellow bigs Ben Lammers and James White continue to see similar minutes to Jacobs, suggesting it to be unlikely that Jacobs regains the consistent scoring he evidenced in January. Up next for Georgia Tech is a home game on Saturday against Notre Dame.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Jacobs managed eight points and four rebounds Sunday against Miami (FL).

This was the first time Jacobs failed to reach double figures in his last eight games, and he's been very good in ACC play for Georgia Tech. In their first 10 contests, he's averaging 13.0 points and 6.0 rebounds per game.

January 27, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Jacobs finished with 20 points, seven rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block Wednesday against North Carolina State.

Jacobs is surging of late, having scored in double figures in five straight games and topping five rebounds in four of those five outings. His minutes and production have been a bit inconsistent, but he's worth considering with games against Syracuse and Duke on the horizon, as both teams feature limited size along their front lines.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Jacobs managed 16 points and 10 rebounds in his 29 minutes off the bench as Georgia Tech fell short against Louisville on Saturday.

Jacobs has been very good coming off the bench lately and has now reached double figures in each of his last four games In that stretch, he's averaged 14.3 points and 6.8 rebounds per game.

December 15, 2015

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Jacobs is averaging 10.8 points, 5.9 rebounds and 1.4 blocks in 21.8 minutes of action per game so far in 2015-16.

After transferring from Alabama following the 2013-14, Jacobs endured a season of ineligibility before contributing for Georgia Tech. The 6-8 senior started the season strong in his first four outings, but faded a bit in the three after that, shooting only 27 percent from the field and averaging only 17 minutes per game. He bounced back against Tulane with a 13 point, nine rebound performance, but he will be very hard to trust as a fantasy asset until he exudes some consistency.

December 2, 2015

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Jacobs had four points, four rebounds and two blocks in 15 minutes Tuesday against Wofford.

The minutes were a season-low and are concerning for Jacobs, who played 31 against Tennessee but has not seen more than 23 in the five games since. It's possible the 6-foot-8, 260 pounder is not conditioned to play much more and until Jacobs shows some signs of the form he displayed in his first four outings, he'll be hard to trust.

November 17, 2015

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Jacobs had 23 points and nine rebounds Monday against Tennessee.

The Vols simply had no answer for Jacobs' 6-foot-8, 260 pound frame, as they start only one player taller than 6-foot-4. Jacobs, a transfer from Alabama, had an impressive summer and seems poised for a breakout season, though he'll likely take some lumps once conference play opens up and he faces more skilled post defenders.
