Hood will forego his final two years at Duke and enter the 2014 NBA Draft, Sports Illustrated's Seth Davis reports.

Hood struggled mightily in the Blue Devils' first-round loss to Mercer, but NBA teams are intrigued by his size (6-foot-8, 201 pounds), considering he can play the two or the three, kind of like a poor man's Paul George. He should get drafted in the middle of the first round in June's draft.

Hood struggled mightily in Friday's 78-71 loss to the Mercer Bears. The sophomore transfer did tally six points, six rebounds and five assists for the game, but shot just 2-for-10 from the floor, turned the ball over three times and fouled out of the contest.

Hood's poor performance makes it increasingly likely that he'll return to Duke next season.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Hood has averaged 17.7 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 2.1 assists in 31.8 minutes per game this season.

He doesn't quite fill the stat sheet like teammate Jabari Parker, but Hood is a great scorer and an integral part of the Blue Devil offense. He has scored in double figures in all but two games this season, and should continue to be a reliable source of points going forward.
