Kane (ankle) will be a game-time decision for Monday's game against Kansas, CBS Sports reports.

Kane sustained an ankle injury in Saturday's loss to Oklahoma and x-rays came back negative. He has been leading the way for the Cyclones this season and would be a big factor in a big matchup with Kansas on Monday if he is able to give it a go.

Kane injured his ankle in the final minute of the Cyclones first loss of the season Saturday at Oklahoma. He had 23 points, nine rebounds, and four assists.

The Marshall transfer was driving to the basket and rolled his left ankle before attempting a driving layup, which he missed. He had to be carried to the bench. Tests should be performed on the ankle on Sunday to determine whether Kane can play against Kansas on Monday.

Kane scored a season-high 30 points with nine assists, eight rebounds and five steals Tuesday as No. 9 Cyclones improved to 14-0 with an 87-72 victory against the No. 7 Baylor Bears.

The Cyclones set a school record with their 14th consecutive win. Kane, who transferred from Marshall in the offseason, scored 17 points in the first half and then led a 28-12 second-half run to secure the team's most impressive win of the season. "I came here to win," Kane said. "I just wanted to be a part of something special." The 6-foot-5, 210, Kane is averaging 16.1 points on 52 percent shooting with 7.1 rebounds and 6.3 assists a game this season.

Kane will transfer to Iowa State (not Pittsburgh as reported a few weeks ago), the AP reports. Kane will not have to sit out a year after transferring.

Under coach Fred Hoiberg, Ames, Iowa has become a spotlight destination for transfers. Kane averaged 15.1 points and 7.0 assists for the Thundering Herd last year and should have the ball in his hands a great deal for Iowa State.

Kane will transfer to Pittsburgh, CBS Sports reports. The guard averaged 15.1 points and 7.0 assists for Marshall in 2012-13.

Kane will not have to sit out a season because he can graduate from Marshall. He should be a nice boost to the Panther backcourt after Travon Woodall graduated.

Kane will miss approximately a month after injuring his hand in an off-court incident, CBS Sports reports.

Kane is averaging 15.0 points and 8.5 assists in 38.2 minutes in his junior season. This is a huge loss for the Thundering Herd who play Kentucky on Saturday. Without Kane, Chris Martin is starting and freshman Tamron Manning is playing more minutes.
