RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Dawson had 17 points, eight rebounds and one blocked shot Saturday against Maryland.

In two Big Ten tournament games, Dawson is averaging 15.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.0 blocks per game. If he is able to be a factor on the offensive end Sunday against Wisconsin, and get Frank Kaminsky into foul trouble, the Spartans' chances to win will improve greatly.

Dawson (eye) will play in the Spartans' Big Ten Tournament opener Friday, Joe Rxrode of the Detroit Free Press reports.

Dawson took a knee to the face against Purdue last week, and he missed Saturday's regular season finale against Indiana. He returned to practice this week, however, and coach Tom Izzo said he has not been limited, so expect Dawson to play his usual role Friday. Michigan State won't know its opponent until the conclusion of Thursday night's game between Ohio State and the winner of Rutgers/Minnesota.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Dawson (eye) is officially considered questionable to play Saturday at Indiana, Joe Rexrode of the Detroit Free Press reports.

Dawson took a knee to the eye Wednesday against Purdue, forcing him out of the game after playing only nine minutes. The senior will continue to be evaluated over the next two days before a final determination is made. Dawson struggled in his last full outing, a loss to Wisconsin, scoring only four points on 2-of-4 shooting in 21 minutes. However, he reached double-figure sin each of the previous four contests. In the Spartans' first meeting with Indiana, he went for 14 points, 13 rebounds, two assists, two steals and two blocks in 35 minutes.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Dawson was scoreless over nine minutes Wednesday night against Purdue, and he did not return after taking an elbow to the head in the first half.

Dawson was able to take part in Senior Night festivities after the game after taking a shot near his right eye, which should be a good sign he'll be able to play in Saturday's regular season finale against Indiana. Stay tuned.
