In two games since returning from suspension, Guerrero has produced 27 points (9-24 FG, 6-17 3 PT, 3-5 FT), five rebounds and six assists.

Guerrero missed the first 17 games of the season after being suspended for the fall semester, but has came out shooting since his return. The junior guard may need a game or two to shake the rust off, but it appears he'll at least see the volume of minutes and shots necessary to make a fantasy impact.

Guerrero (suspension) remains without a clear timetable for return, the Fresno Bee reports.

Guerrero missed the entire fall semester of games due to academic eligibility issues, but has since enrolled in Fresno State's winter intersession, and grades for that are expected to be posted by Jan. 16. If everything checks out, the junior point guard could make his return in advance of a Jan. 17 contest against Wyoming. Marvelle Harris currently leads the Bulldogs with an average of 3.6 assists per game, but if Guerrero can come close to his 2013-14 averages of 13.1 points and 3.5 assists, his contributions will certainly be welcome, especially when it comes to distributing the ball.

Guerrero will sit out the remainder of the fall semester, effectively missing 11 games for Fresno State, the Fresno Bee reports.

Guerrero has lost his appeal with the NCAA regarding his academic eligibility, and will not be eligible to return until a Dec. 20 contest against Pacific -- the day after the conclusion of the fall semester. In the meantime, coach Rodney Terry plans on keeping him closely involved with the team in preparation for his reinstatement. Guerrero would have been a main contributor in the Bulldogs' backcourt after starting 38 games last season and averaging 13.1 points, 3.5 assists and 3.3 rebounds. His loss, paired with the injury to freshman Isaiah Bailey (hand), leaves more minutes to Julien Lewis, Emmanuel Owootoah and Darnell Taylor.

Guerrero will miss Fresno State's game against Pepperdine on Sunday due to an academic suspension, Jeff Goodman of ESPN.com reports.

The report goes on to note that the duration of the suspension is not yet known, and that it could be lengthy. Guerrero figured to be relied on heavily this season, after leading the team in assists and coming in third in point per game last year. Since the length of the suspension is still unknown, it is probably best to avoid Guerrero in both daily, and season long leagues until more is known about his absence.
