RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Kearney is likely to see a bit more playing time following Branden Dawson's season-ending ACL tear during Sunday's loss to Ohio State, the Detroit Free Press reports.

Kearney, a freshman guard, showed off some offensive ability early in the Big Ten slate, but he didn't score in Michigan State's final eight regular season matchups. Meanwhile, defense is the reason he will receive minutes. When asked if Dawson's absence would change his role (12.5 minutes in his last six games), Kearney said: "A bit. (Mostly) I have to pick up my defensive rebounding." During the aforementioned six-contest stretch, he tallied five rebounds and five assists, outputs he should be able to surpass with an increased role.
