Ware will transfer to Georgia State, Zag's Blog reports.

Ware appeared in just nine games for Louisville this past season after suffering a broken leg in last year's NCAA tournament. Transfers like Ryan Harrow have had success at Georgia State, who should have the best backcourt in the Sun Belt with Harrow, Ware, and R.L. Hunter.

Ware (leg) will transfer from Louisville, after taking a medical redshirt for the 2013-14 season, reports.

Best known for suffering a gruesome broken leg during last season's NCAA tournament, Ware reportedly intends to leave Louisville for a school closer to his home in Georgia. Should he make a return to full health, he has the talent to be an asset for nearly any program and the kind of name recognition typically reserved for superior players.

Ware (leg) will take a medical redshirt and miss the remainder of the season, reports.

Ware suffered a horrific lower-leg fracture during last season's NCAA Tournament and underwent surgery shortly after. He returned this season and played just nine games before suffering a second leg injury. Ware will sit out the season in hopes of returning fully healthy in 2014-15.

Ware suffered a broken leg during Sunday's regional final against Duke, CBS Sports reports.

The injury was not one for the squeamish. It was horrific and any other adjective along those lines. Ware acts as one of the many bench options for Rick Pitino and the Cardinals. He had actually just scored in double digits for the second time this season in the regional semifinal. Clearly, Ware's recovery will be lengthy, but his status as a sophomore leaves him with plenty of time to return to the court.

Ware scored a career-high 11 points in the win over Oregon in the Sweet 16 on Friday.

Ware is a very talented player and just another weapon that coach Rick Pitino can call off the bench. He has received consistent bench minutes, but only scored in double digits twice.

Ware, who played sparingly as a freshman as a backup point guard, will move to his more natural position of shooting guard in 2012-13, according to the Louisville Courier-Journal.

Ware was a highly regarded recruit, but never cracked the Cardinal rotation after missing the first nine games of the season. Expectations have dimmed a bit for Ware, so he could be a nice breakout candidate.
