Obekpa swatted four shots and collected five steals in Monday's win over Xavier. He scored four points and grabbed six boards.

Obekpa has been coming off the bench, but played a starter's complement of minutes. He has averaged 3.0 blocks over his last four games since returning from an ankle injury. Anything beyond the blocks is gravy.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Obekpa (ankle) returned from a one-game absence, but did not score in 22 minutes off the Red Storm bench in the win over Xavier. He snagged five boards and blocked three shots.

Obekpa missed the majority of the last three games with a sore ankle, but he was able to play against Xavier to keep St. John's winning streak alive. He should get back in the starting lineup before too long.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Obekpa (ankle) is questionable for Saturday's game against Xavier, the Cincinnati Enquirer reports. He missed the Wednesday win over DePaul.

Despite his thin frame, Obekpa is an excellent shot blocker and a key to the Red Storm defense. The team will rely on Sir'Dominic Pointer even more and Felix Balamou will start. The Musketeers' Matt Stainbrook becomes a better play for Saturday.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Obekpa (ankle) will not play Wednesday against DePaul, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.

Obekpa hardly saw the court Saturday against Creighton, and his next chance to return to the court will be Saturday against Xavier. Fantasy owners will have to look elsewhere in the short term for the rebounds and blocks provided by the junior big man. In Obekpa's absence, look for the Red Storm to go with a guard-heavy lineup that features Felix Balamou more frequently.

Obekpa was ejected in the first half of the Red Storm's loss to Butler for hitting Bulldog freshman forward Tyler Wideman with an elbow in the back of the head. He put up two rebounds and a block in nine minutes.

Obekpa could well get suspended for the play. He is one of the keys to the St. John's defense, so it may be wise to check out Creighton Bluejays for Saturday's game.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Obekpa had another solid game in the win over Providence on Saturday. He provided eight points, 10 rebounds, and six blocks.

Obekpa has averaged 9.0 rebounds and 4.3 blocks over his last four games. He will never be much of a scorer, but has scored 6.3 points over that span. Obekpa is getting big minutes and is every-game threat to swat a lot of shots.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Obekpa provided six points, 10 rebounds, and five blocks in the win over Marquette on Wednesday.

The lanky junior will never be a polished offensive player, but he blocks shots like nobody's business. He is swatting 3.6 shots per game to go along with 7.7 rebounds and 7.2 points.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Obekpa pumped in 16 points to go along with eight rebounds and six blocks in the win over Long Beach State on Monday.

The Red Storm is built on their defense, centered on Obekpa. He is rather slight, but has great shot blocking instincts. His 16 points were a nice surprise.
