RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Sword (shoulder) had 10 points (4-7 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), eight rebounds, five assists and two blocks over 34 minutes in Saturday's victory over Ole Miss.

Word of a shoulder injury surfaced originally Friday, when Sword was held out of a team practice for precautionary reasons. It didn't seem to affect the senior wing Saturday, as he scored in double figures for the fourth time in the last five games. The 6-3 Sword is shooting just 19 percent from beyond the arc this season, and if he can get that stroke back, his 12.7 PPG could be headed for a bump.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Sword did not practice Friday due to a shoulder issue, Michael Bonner of the Clarion-Ledger reports. However, Sword told reporters that he does expect to play Saturday against Ole Miss.

This is the first mention of a shoulder injury for the Bulldogs' second-leading scorer, and though the severity has yet to be disclosed, it's certainly worrisome with a matchup against Ole Miss set for Saturday. If he's unable to play Saturday, the Bulldogs could be in a difficult position given that Sword is the only true small forward on the roster.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Sword contributed 17 points, six rebounds, four dimes and three steals at Florida on Tuesday.

Sword showed his versatility against the Gators, but the Bulldogs still came up short, 81-78. Sword is averaging 12.8 points, 3.4 rebounds and 2.7 assists per contest.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Sword scored 20 points on 9-of-13 shooting at Kentucky on Tuesday.

It was the fourth time this season Sword scored at least 20 points in a game, including the second-straight contest. On the downside, he turned the ball over five times and eventually fouled out of the 80-74 loss to the Wildcats.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Sword scored 20 points on 7-of-13 shooting at FSU on Wednesday.

Sword also tallied three rebounds, two assists and one steal in the 90-66 loss. He may be asked to shoulder even more of the scoring burden if Gavin Ware (knee) misses time.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Sword tallied 12 points, three rebounds, five dimes, three steals and two blocks at UMKC on Saturday.

It was a dismal loss for the Bulldogs to the Kangaroos. On the downside for Sword, he turned the ball over four times and eventually fouled out of the game. Still, the five assists and three steals were season-highs for the senior.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Sword compiled 16 points, two rebounds, two assists, two steals and four blocks in Wednesday's 86-73 win over Texas Southern.

Sword shot 7-for-12 from the floor, including 2-of-5 from downtown. The senior had previously struggled from long range to begin the season, so this was a positive sign. Sword is mostly a scorer these days, though he does have the ability contribute a little bit in a variety of other categories.
