Johnson had 19 points (6-10 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 6-7 FT), six rebounds, two steals, and a block in the win over Washington State on Wednesday.

Johnson has been a bit up and down in his seven games since his two game suspension as he is averaging 13.0 PPG and 5.6 RPG while shooting just 41 percent from the field and 25 percent from behind the arc. For comparison, in the 23 games before his suspension Johnson was averaging 15.2 PPG and 6.1 RPG while shooting over 52 percent from the field and 44 percent from behind the arc. RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Johnson tallied four points (2-4 FG, 0-2 3Pt), five boards, three assists and a steal during Sunday's contest against Washington State in his first game back from a two-game suspension.

Johnson, the team's second-leading scorer (14.7 PPG), appeared to be a bit more passive in his first game back from suspension. With that being said, the senior still logged 20 minutes of action during Sunday's contest which is somewhat relative to his typical 27.6 MPG. The suspension seems to be something of the past given Johnson's usage and barring any disciplinary setbacks Johnson should continue to function as a key facet of Colorado's success.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Johnson (suspension) is slated to be reinstated for Sunday's game against Washington State, Pat Rooney of the Boulder Daily Camera reports.

Both Johnson and fellow senior Wesley Gordon have been suspended for the Buffaloes' past two contests, but the duo is slated to return over the upcoming weekend.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Johnson (suspension) will not play Thursday against Washington, Pat Rooney of the Boulder Daily Camera reports.

Johnson and teammate Wesley Gordon both came out on the floor in a suit and tie Thursday while the Buffaloes warmed up ahead of their matchup with the Huskies. Both Johnson and Gordon sat out of Sunday's game against California as well. With their suspensions extending into Thursday, Colorado will be without two of its top four scorers.

January 8, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Johnson had a game-high 26 points (9-20 FG, 4-10 3Pt, 4-6 FT) to go along with six boards in Saturday's loss to Arizona.

Johnson had a quick trigger Saturday, but the Buffaloes needed a big day from their second-leading scorer if they had any chance of pulling off the road upset. The senior is shooting 50 percent from the field this year, but his 20 attempts in this contest were by far a season high.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Johnson will not face a suspension for Saturday's game against Arizona, Bruce Pascoe of the Arizona Daily Star reports.

Johnson was ejected from Thursday's game against Arizona State after being assessed a Flagrant 2 on Jethro Tshisumpa. Fortunately, because he was not ejected for fighting, he will not face any further penalty. Johnson is one of Colorado's top contributors, averaging 13.9 points and 5.6 rebounds per game. His presence will be vital for any chance Colorado has at pulling the upset in Tuscon.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Johnson was ejected from Thursday's game against Arizona State, Jeff Metcalfe of AZCentral.com reports.

The Buffs will be without one of their top scorers for the remainder of Thursday's clash after Johnson was ejected for a scuffle with Sun Devil Jethro Tshisumpa. Johnson had a team-high 13 points prior to being tossed Thursday, so Colorado will need Tory Miller to respond well to an uptick in minutes against the Sun Devils.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Johnson led all scorers with a career-high 27 points (9-14 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 7-11 FT) to go along with 12 rebounds in Sunday's victory over Wofford.

It was the first double-double of Johnson's senior season, and the third highest rebounding total of his career. After missing all of 2015-16 with a torn Achilles, Johnson looks poised to end his collegiate career with a major bounceback. He's averaging 15.0 PPG through his first six games, a mark that would be three points higher than his previous career-best set in 2013-14.
