Carter Jr. (knee) returned to the court on Saturday against Virginia after missing the Yellow Jackets' last ten games.

Carter Jr. tore the meniscus in his left knee in January and was dearly missed as the Yellow Jackets went 3-7 during his absence. In his return, Carter Jr. scored five points and had two rebounds in just 16 minutes of play. Before the injury, Carter Jr. averaged 9.9 points and 8.8 rebounds in 25 minutes per game for Georgia Tech.

Carter, a 6-8 sophomore, was leading the Yellow Jackets with 9.3 rebounds to go along with 10.3 points and 1.3 blocks. Swingman Marcus Georges-Hunt may get more offensive opportunities and center Daniel Miller could get more board work. Look for Kammeon Holsey to possibly replace Carter in the starting lineup.
