Head coach Mark Gottfried indicated Henderson (ankle) may not return this season, the Wilmington Star News reports.

“I do believe at some point you start to work against the clock as far as how much time is left in the season,” he said. “We’re mid-January now. I think it’s safe to say, whenever he does start to practice, there’s going to be a period after that’s going to be a few weeks to where he gets comfortable, in game shape. I don’t know the answer, but I know it’s not anytime in the next couple of weeks we’re going to see him in uniform.” The 'Pack will continue to use a shortened rotation into February.

Henderson (ankle) is not expected to return to the court until late-January/early-February, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.

Henderson suffered torn ligaments in his ankle during the season opener back on Nov. 13, and was initially given a 6-to-8 week timetable for recovery. Based on this report, it appears the junior guard's return will arrive at the far end of that estimate. He's seen just seven minutes on the court since transferring from West Virginia, but could earn an important role with the Wolfpack down the stretch.
