Smith-Rivera will return to school for his senior season, Scout.com reports.

The 6-3 guard led the Hoyas with 16.2 points and 3.1 assists. Over his past two seasons, he has hit 39 percent of his 3-pointers. With sophomore Tre Campbell on point, Smith-Rivera could move to shooting guard more often in 2015-16. His return should help keep Georgetown in the upper echelon of the Big East.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Smith-Rivera will enter the 2015 NBA Draft, Jonathan Givony of DraftExpress reports.

Smith-Rivera averaged 16.3 points, 4.2 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game as a junior this season, but he's considered only a fringe NBA Draft prospect. The 22-year-old currently projects as a late-second-rounder at best.

Smith-Rivera was limited to 12 points in the loss to Utah on Saturday in the NCAA tournament. He missed all seven of his 3-point attempts, but doled out six assists.

Smith-Rivera just couldn't find the range against the Utes. He had hit a 3-pointer in every game since the Dec. 10 loss to Kansas. The 6-3 junior should be among the leading scorers in the Big East in 2015-16.

Smith-Rivera scored a game-high 25 points with eight rebounds in the win over Eastern Washington on Thursday in the NCAA tournament's Round of 64.

Smith-Rivera scored 25 points for the second time in the last three games. His three-point percentage topped 40 percent with his 4-of-7 from long range. The 16.5-point scorer will be more challenged against Utah on Saturday.

Smith-Rivera will return for the start of the Big East Tournament, CBS Sports reports.

After missing Saturday's win over Seton Hall, which clinched the No. 2 seed in the Big East Tournament, Smith will be ready to play next week, according to coach John Thompson. "He will definitely be back," Thompson said. The Hoyas' leading scorer is averaging 16.0 points, 4.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Smith-Rivera did not play Saturday in the win over Seton Hall with a lower body injury.

The Hoyas were able to win because of the sterling play of Tre Campbell (19 points), but will need Smith-Rivera to make their way in the Big East tournament next week. The Hoyas clinched the two-seed with the win, so they will not need to play until Thursday, which will give the junior guard over a week to recuperate from his last game.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Smith-Rivera led the Hoyas with 16 points and seven rebounds in the win at Butler on Tuesday.

The 6-3 junior has been hitting the boards of late with 7.8 rebounds in his last four games. He has also scored 19.0 points with 3.3 assists in that span. Smith-Rivera could be getting ready to lead the Hoyas on a surprising March run.
