Smith-Rivera scored a game-high 25 points with eight rebounds and four assists in the win over DePaul on Tuesday.

Smith-Rivera led the Hoyas with 18 points as they were beaten by Xavier on Wednesday. He was the only Georgetown player to score more than 10 points.

After enduring a shooting slump in early December, the Hoyas' lead scorer has bounced back in his last two games with a combined 47 points. He gets to the line 4.9 times per game and converts 88.1 percent of his freebies.

Smith-Rivera erupted for a season-high 29 points, which is 13 more than his previous season-high. Saturday was one of Smith-Rivera's best shooting performances of the season as he hit 50% of his shots from the floor. He's averaging 13.3 points-per-game this season, so Saturday is a bit of an anomaly compared to what you'd usually expect from him.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Smith-Rivera scored 10 points (3-15 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 4-4 FT) with 10 rebounds and six assists Wednesday.

Smith-Rivera has had some great scoring games this year, but tends to take significantly more shots when facing a quality opponent. He's actually taking over 15 shots per game against ranked teams, and has not attempted that many shots once against a non-ranked team. This information is more useful to daily games since Smith-Rivera is one of college basketball's better scorers, and should be started against lesser teams anyway.

Smith-Rivera had a nice all-around game with 12 points, six rebounds, and seven assists in the win over Robert Morris on Saturday.

The junior has not scored well in the early season as Josh Smith and L.J. Peak have taken the most shots. The junior bounced back from a seven-point, zero-assist game against Texas Corpus Christi on Tuesday.

The Hoyas have won three straight on the scoring backs of Smith-Rivera and Markel Starks. The sophomore has not hit a 3-pointers in the winning streak, but has been forcing the action to the rim. Starks-Rivera has hit 27 of his last 28 free throws.
