Coleman notched 12 points (5-7 FG, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, and one steal in 30 minutes during Tuesday's loss to Wisconsin.

Coleman was highly efficient inside when he got the chance, but wasn't able to get too many shots up. This was the best performance of his season, and he doubled his playing time as compared to any other game this season. If Coleman keeps getting consistent minutes and is able to body defenders in the paint well, the senior center could see a rise in value.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Coleman had 11 points, 11 rebounds, two blocks and two steals Tuesday against Pittsburgh.

Coleman posted his first double-double while playing 33 minutes as Tyler Roberson was saddled by foul trouble. It's nice to see that the big man is capable of production when allowed to play, and it will be interesting to see if the team gives him additional chances in whatever postseason tournament the Orange ends up in.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Coleman logged a season-high 35 minutes Saturday against North Carolina State, finishing with seven points, seven rebounds before fouling out.

That Coleman played so many minutes in spite of his foul trouble is eye opening. While the production wasn't there, maybe, just maybe, the coaching staff is beginning to trust the big man and his chronically injured knee to absorb real minutes. It's worth keeping an eye on over the season's final week prior to tournament action.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Coleman scored no points but added three rebounds in Syracuse’s 75-61 victory over Boston College Sunday.

The 6-9 center has started every game this season for the Orange but surprisingly averages only 16.8 MPG. The junior has grabbed at least three rebounds in 12 consecutive games and now averages 4.3 RPG. The senior also contributes a solid 0.8 blocks per game 0.6 steals per contest.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Coleman had 14 points, seven rebounds, an assist, two blocks and four steals Sunday against Texas Southern.

Coleman did all of his damage in 20 minutes. The limited playing time is seemingly the only thing keeping him from being a steady fantasy contributor. He scored 13 points in the outing prior to this in only 12 minutes. There will be plenty of risk, but Coleman could be worth a flier Wednesday night against Pittsburgh.

December 3, 2015

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Coleman had three rebounds and an assist in five minutes of action Wednesday against Wisconsin.

The Orange were out-rebounded 51-25 in the contest with their big man sitting. Coleman expressed some frustration post game with regards to a lack of opportunity, which has been a season long trend as he recovers from knee surgery. It's clear the Orange need to let him play a bit more, but until he does, Coleman can't be trusted in any lineup.

November 18, 2015

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Coleman had four points and four rebounds Tuesday against St. Bonaventure.

Coleman played 14 minutes after playing 13 in the season-opener. Coleman has proclaimed his health, but it appears the Orange are easing their big man back into action. Until he can stay on the court for 20 minutes or more nightly, he's not going to be a trusted fantasy center.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Coleman (knee) had seven points (2-8 FG, 3-4 FT), seven rebounds and a block in Sunday's 96-54 exhibition victory over Florida Southern.

Coleman has had quite the rocky road to get to this point, as various lower body injuries have forced the top-10 recruit to miss much of the 2013-14 season and all of 2014-15. Coleman was honored with 2012 New York Mr. Basketball honors, but has yet to surpass an average of 5.0 points or rebounds per game over a limited sample size with his hometown team. The 6-foot-9 senior will look to turn the corner in the upcoming season, and could be a steady source of points and boards if he keeps himself healthy.
