Lewis will transfer to Butler, Zak Keefer of the Indianapolis Star reports.

Lewis was reportedly so impressed by Butler that he didn't even bother to visit other schools. The 5-11 guard averaged 4.4 points and 3.8 assists this season, with an ugly 34.6 shooting percentage. Jumping to a program in a state of post-Brad Stevens transition, Lewis could be asked to carry a larger role. However, he hasn't graduated yet, and thus won't be eligible to play until 2015-16.

Lewis will transfer, CBS Sports reports.

The former McDonald's All-American has been a disappointment so far in his career, averaging 4.4 points and 3.8 assists in 20 minutes per game in his sophomore season. Look for him to transfer to a school that will offer an opportunity to get ample playing time as soon as he sits out a year.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Lewis scored 16 points and added five assists Saturday against Miami.

The freshman point guard stepped into the starting lineup in place of injured teammate Lorenzo Brown. Despite a rocky start, Lewis settled in to post a more-than-respectable line. If Brown is forced to miss any more time going forward, it appears Lewis is prepared to take the reins as the starter, both now and in the future.
