Coggins had a team-high 18 points (6-9 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 2-3 FT) Thursday against Cal-Poly. He also had four rebounds and two assists

Thursday's performance was the first game since the middle of November in which Coggins recorded a field-goal percentage of more than 50.0 percent. He has been inconsistent on offense recently, scoring a double-digit point total in just two of the four games previous to Thursday's contest, but his 18 points against Cal-Poly kept him on a positive track. Coggins is now averaging 16.3 points per game on the season.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Coggins had 21 points (5-16 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 9-10 FT) and seven rebounds Saturday against Cal Poly.

Coggins has been very strong offensively for the most part this past month, scoring 19.7 points per game in his past 10 games. He has also been fairly inefficient during that span with a field-goal percentage of 40.8 percent. He has been able to compensate largely by recording a free-throw percentage of 93.9 percent in those games.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Coggins had a team-high 41 points (9-19 FG, 6-12 3Pt, 17-17 FT) Saturday against Cal State-Northridge. He also had two rebounds and two steals.

The junior guard did not do much in the way of rebounds or assists, but his offensive performance certainly compensated for that. His point total was the highest of his career, and his perfect free-throw percentage demonstrated his ability to get to the line and convert. He also recorded eight turnovers, which poses a little bit of a concern should he cool down offensively in the future, but that did not take much away from his fantastic performance on Saturday.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Coggins had a team-high 18 points (7-for-15 from the field). He also had four rebounds and three assists.

After a hot start to the season which featured five consecutive double-digit scoring totals, Coggins went on a cold streak, during which he only scored eight points in three consecutive games. This performance may signal a break from that cold streak. Considering the fact that he only averages 4.4 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game, Coggins is not necessarily a lock to start or own in most formats just yet.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Coggins has transferred to Cal State Fullerton, ESPN's Jeff Goodman reports.

Coggins was a decent player for Air Force last year, giving the Falcons 16 points per game along with 2.7 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and a 39 percent stroke from downtown. He should be able to step in and provide immediate help to the Titans' backcourt. Coggins still has two years of eligibility left, so his arrival is not just a one-year fix for a tournament push and could provide a big boost for the team over the next couple of years.

March 9, 2014

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Coggins had 10 points on 4-of-13 shooting in Saturday's overtime win over Boise State.
