Cavanaugh had a team-high 22 points (6-12 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 8-11 FT) to go along with 12 rebounds in Monday's NIT victory over Monmouth.

Cavanaugh had his highest scoring total since tallying 26 points Jan. 12 against UMass, and has now collected a double-double in two straight NIT games. The Wake Forest transfer leads the Colonials in scoring at 16.7 PPG, and should be a major part of the team's plans in 2016-17, his final year of eligibility.
