Perrantes had 10 points (3-9 FG, 2-6 3 Pt, 2-3 FT), 10 assists, five rebounds and three steals over 37 minutes in Monday's victory over Syracuse.

Perrantes' 10 dimes were a season high, as the performance gave the sophomore guard his first double-double of the 2014-15 season. Just over a week removed from suffering a broken nose and a concussion in a collision with a teammate, Perrantes is playing at the highest level he has all season. These contributions are especially timely for a Cavaliers squad that remains uncertain if star wing Justin Anderson (hand) will be able to return for the ACC tournament.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Perrantes (concussion) had 11 points (4-4 FG, 3-3 3 Pt), six assists and two rebounds over 33 minutes in Saturday's victory over Virginia Tech.

It had been just under a week since the collision with teammate Malcolm Brogdon that left Perrantes with a broken nose and a concussion, but the sophomore guard returned to the court sporting a mask for the afternoon ACC tilt. He was able to nail a three-pointer for the team's first basket, but eventually removed the mask after claiming to have re-broken his nose, per the Washington Post. Perrantes still scored eight points in the second half without it, displaying incredible toughness in the winning effort. It sounds as if these ailments don't expect to sideline the sophomore, who has demonstrated he is more than keen to play through the discomfort. With Perrantes returning to the Cavaliers' starting lineup, look for Marial Shayok to return to limited minutes in a reserve role.

Perrantes will return to the court against Virginia Tech on Saturday, Jeff Goodman of ESPN reports.

Perrantes missed Wednesday's game against Wake Forest after suffering a concussion earlier in the week against Florida State. He should be available for Virginia moving forward, although he'll be wearing a protective mask on his face to shield the broken nose he was also dealt when he was concussed.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Perrantes (concussion) will not play in Wednesday's game against Wake Forest.

Perrantes suffered a mild concussion and broken nose in a collision during Sunday's win over Florida State, and will miss at least one game with the injuries. His next chance for a return will come against Virginia Tech on Saturday, but look for freshman Marial Shayok to fill in his place in the meantime.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Perrantes is dealing with a mild concussion and broken nose after colliding with a teammate during Sunday's game against Florida State, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.

Virginia is listing Perrantes as day-to-day while he addresses the aftermath of a concussion, albeit mild. The sophomore should be a game-time decision for Wednesday's game with Wake Forest. If Perrantes can't go, look for freshman Marial Shayok to see an uptick in minutes.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Perrantes left Sunday's win over Florida State after a head-to-head collision in the fourth quarter, the Washington Post reports.

Perrantes had blood on his jersey and was down on the court for awhile after colliding with teammate Malcolm Brodgon. While Brogdon was able to return, Perrantes stayed on the bench. It's not clear how severe an injury Perrantes may have suffered.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Perrantes recorded seven points (3-9 FG, 1-3 3Pt), six rebounds, two assists, and one block Wednesday against North Carolina State.

Perrantes had a typical game for him Wednesday. Virginia's slow style of play does not allow for many players on the team to put up big numbers on a nightly basis, but Perrantes still has a team-high 4.5 assists per game and an outstanding 3.0 assist-to-turnover ratio so far this season. He is also always sure to be on the court for the majority of the game and is averaging over 36 minutes in his last five games.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Perrantes finished with 26 points (5-11 FG, 5-9 3Pt, 11-12 FT) and eight assists in Saturday's 89-80 double-overtime victory versus Miami.

It is certainly not everyday that you see a player eclipse his previous season-high in points by 19, but that is exactly what Perrantes accomplished in Saturday's conference-opening win. Even with this performance, the sophomore guard is only averaging 5.0 points in his team-leading 32 minutes per game this season. Perrantes typically contributes to the now 13-0 Cavaliers in other ways, including a team-best mark of 4.5 assists per contest.
