Johnson led the Rams with 17 points, adding three assists, a steal, a block and a rebound Wednesday at George Mason.

It's Johnson's highest scoring output since posting 20 points on January 10. He played 35 minutes, and could be forced to shoulder even more scoring responsibility Saturday against St. Bonaventure should Treveon Graham not be able to play due to an ankle injury.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Johnson had 20 points while hitting six 3-pointers Saturday against St. Joseph's.

Johnson had just 25 points in his previous three games. He's not giving owners much more than points and 3-pointers, but Johnson has taken a leap in his junior season, averaging 14.2 points, up from 10.4 a year ago.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Johnson led the Rams in scoring Saturday with 18 points on 7-of-13 shooting. He also had one rebound and one assist in the contest.

Johnson bounced back nicely following an underwhelming two point performance against Belmont earlier this week. He's averaging 15.2 points per game, which is second on the team behind Treveon Graham's 16.6 ppg mark.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Johnson scored a season-low two points Tuesday against Belmont on 1-of-7 shooting.

Johnson had scored in double-digits in every contest prior to Tuesday, and is embracing an increased role in the Rams' offense. He is averaging 14.9 points and two 3-pointers nightly, and should continue to be a steady contributor.

Johnson expects to take on a more prominent role for the Rams this season, the Richmond Times-Dispatch reports.

Johnson made it a priority this offseason to focus on his perimeter shooting after the team shot just 34.9 percent from beyond the arc in 2013-14. The junior guard launched 305 shots last season, and should see a similar body of work alongside 2013-14 leading scorer Treveon Graham in the VCU backcourt.

Johnson (knee) is doubtful for VCU's first game of the NCAA tournament Friday against Stephen F. Austin, according to coach Shaka Smart, CBS Sports reports.

Johnson missed the Atlantic 10 championship game with the sprained knee, and there is no timetable for his return. Smart said they would know more on Thursday, but it sounds like the Rams will be without their best outside shooter, making them susceptible to an upset against a trendy Stephen F. Austin team.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Johnson suffered a knee injury during Saturday's win over George Washington, and he will not play in Sunday's A-10 title game against St. Joseph's. The sophomore guard is scheduled for an MRI on Monday, CBS Sports reports.

A serious injury seems to be in play, meaning that the Rams may be without Johnson in the upcoming NCAA tourney. The 6-3 sophomore guard is averaging 10.6 points, 2.2 boards, 1.3 assists and 0.9 steals this season.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Johnson struggled from the floor Tuesday at George Washington, making just 4-of-14 shots in route to 11 points and three rebounds.

The sophomore is averaging 10.5 points and 2.1 boards off of the Rams bench, scoring nearly four points more per game this year while playing an average of four minutes more per night. Still, he hasn't taken a full leap into fantasy relevance, and is unlikely to do so until next season when he presumably moves into the starting lineup. He scored 27 points in 19 minutes in a game earlier this season against Virginia Tech, so the potential is there.
