Ochefu scored nine points and grabbed six rebounds in the win over North Carolina for the NCAA championship on Monday. He was 4-of-5 from the field.

Ochefu was battling exhaustion and ankle pain, but played 32 gutty minutes in the win. He played defense on the perimeter as the Wildcats generally switched on defense. The senior improved greatly on offense and could get some looks in the NBA, despite being undersized.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Ochefu scored 10 points with six rebounds and three assists in the win over Oklahoma in the Final Four on Saturday. He turned his ankle in the second half, but was able to return to the game.

Ochefu was limited in the Big East tournament because of an ankle injury and did not play more than 19 minutes in the three games. He had looked spry against the Sooners in the low post and should be a key player for the Wildcats in the final on Monday.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Ochefu provided 10 points and eight rebounds in the win over Kansas on Saturday in the NCAA tournament.

Ochefu has become a bona fide low-post threat and was able to get some baskets close to the tin. The Wildcats will meet Oklahoma again in the Final Four. The Villanova center had eight points and 10 rebounds in the Dec. 7 loss.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Ochefu scored 17 points in the win over Miami on Thursday in the NCAA tournament. He only had two rebounds, somewhat due to the Wildcats hitting 62.7 percent of their shots.

The Wildcats have broken through into the second weekend after failing in their first two years as Big East champion. Ochefu is an opportunistic scorer and has averaged 13.3 points in the NCAA tournament.

March 20, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Ochefu grabbed a team-high 11 rebounds to go with six points, four assists, three steals, and three blocks in the blowout win over Iowa on Sunday in the NCAA tournament.

Ochefu did exactly what the Wildcats needed him to do: grab some boards, play some defense, and not demand shots. He has been very productive in the two wins as the Wildcats made it to the Sweet 16 where they will meet Miami. Ochefu will be challenged against the Hurricane bigs.

March 18, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Ochefu provided 17 points and 10 rebounds in the first round NCAA tournament victory over UNC-Asheville on Friday. He added four assists and three blocks.

Ochefu had his first double-double in March and eighth of the season. He was clearly limited in the Big East tournament by a sprained ankle, but looked sprier in the first round win.

March 11, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Ochefu scored three big baskets late in the second half and finished with eight points in the win over Providence on Friday in the Big East tournament.

Ochefu was noticeably hobbled with an ankle sprain, but was able to post up smaller Friars and get easy baskets. He will likely play limited minutes in the Big East finals on Saturday.

March 10, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Ochefu did not score or record a rebound in 13 minutes in the win over Georgetown in the Big East quarterfinals on Thursday. He sprained his ankle on Tuesday and further tweaked the injury earlier on Thursday.

Ochefu was simply too hobbled to be effective against the Hoyas, but the Wildcats did not need him to win. Providence is up next and production expectations for the Villanova center should be limited.
