Tears ACL again, set to miss second straight season

West, who led the nation in assists in 2014-15, was granted a sixth year of eligibility for the upcoming season after a torn ACL prevented him from playing in 2015-16. Unfortunately, it appears West re-injured the same knee, which could spell the end of his college career. West's injury will surely hurt Northwestern State's chances of reaching the NCAA tournament, as the team has few options on the roster who can replicate the 20 points and 7.7 assists per game that the point guard averaged two years ago.
