Allen scored 23 points, grabbed nine rebounds, and dished out three assists in Duke's 69-78 loss to Louisville on Saturday.

Allen left in the final minutes of Tuesday's game against Florida State, but it appears the ailment was never serious as he returned to ultimately play 36 minutes. It was a good game for the junior forward as he scored 20-plus points for the first time since Dec. 10 and it was the first time he's been to the free-throw line 10-plus times since Dec. 19. Allen and the Blue Devils play next Jan. 21 at home against Miami (FL).

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Allen left Tuesday's game with six minutes remaining with a head injury. He had nine points and five assists in the loss to Florida State before leaving.

Just before incurring the injury, Allen courted more controversy by falling into the Florida State bench and appearing to shove Dennis Gates, a Seminoles assistant coach. Allen was playing in his first road game since being suspended for a game. He should be considered a game-time decision for Saturday's game against Louisville.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Allen scored 12 points and dealt a season-high 11 assists in the win over Boston College on Saturday. He also had another possible tripping incident, however.

Allen appeared to lose his balance while fighting through a screen and brought his leg up in contact with an Eagle. It was unclear if Allen had any malicious intent. No foul was called on the play. The junior has been distributing nicely since returning from his suspension with 18 assists in two games.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Allen returned from his suspension with 15 points and seven assists in the blowout win over Georgia Tech on Wednesday.

Allen ended up missing one game after tripping an Elon player on Dec. 21. He only took five field-goal attempts and set up his teammates repeatedly. Allen should get more minutes in more competitive games and provide plenty of points and assists.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Allen (suspension) has been reinstated and will play Wednesday against Georgia Tech, CBS Sports' Jon Rothstein reports.

Duke gets a major addition back to its lineup Wednesday with Allen returning from a one-game suspension. The Blue Devils struggled mightily in their conference opener and ultimately were blown out by Virginia Tech on the road. Allen's return means that Duke will have added lineup versatility and offensive fire power against an upstart Georgia Tech team that just captured a win over North Carolina on Saturday. Allen is averaging 16.0 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 3.5 rebounds per game over 12 starts this season.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Allen (suspension) is going through warmups ahead of Wednesday's game against Georgia Tech, but it's unclear as to whether he's been reinstated from his suspension, Steven Wiseman of the Durham Herald-Sun reports.

Although Allen took part in warmups ahead of Saturday's game against Virginia Tech, Wiseman notes that Allen's activity is more ramped up during Wednesday's session. It still appears unlikely that Allen will ultimately play against the Yellow Jackets, but his increased activity in warmups make him a player to monitor in the lead up to tip-off Wednesday.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Allen (suspension) will not play Saturday but has returned to practice with the Blue Devils, C.L. Brown of ESPN reports.

Allen's indefinite suspension begins Saturday with him sitting out against Virginia Tech. However, Brown notes that Allen participated in Duke's first practice following the Christmas holiday. It's unclear when Allen will be reinstated to return to game action.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Allen has been suspended indefinitely by the team, the Raleigh News & Observer reports.

Head coach Mike Krzyzewski made the announcement early this morning, which comes in stark contrast to his comments following last night's game with Elon. Allen clearly tripped a Phoenix player, at least his third such incident over the past two years, and had to be physically restrained on the sideline by assistant coach Jon Scheyer. Allen was allowed to reenter the game after cooling off, however. There was no hint as to how long Allen would be out, but it would likely be surprising if he isn't back in the fold before the meat of the Blue Devils' ACC schedule.
