Peters has elected to transfer to Nicholls State, ESPN.com's Jeff Goodman reports.
ANALYSIS
Nicholls State will mark the third school that Peters has played for, after he spent his freshman season at Maryland and his sophomore season at South Florida. The point guard averaged 9.8 points, 3.5 assists, 3.3 rebounds and 1.0 steals across 26.6 minutes at South Florida last season before being dismissed from the program dismissed for undisclosed reasons. Prior to his dismissal, Peters suffered a fractured foot, but he should be fully recovered once he's eligible for the start of the 2017-18 season. He'll have two years of eligibility remaining.
