Will transfer from Longwood
Lane will transfer from Longwood to finish his final year of eligibility with another program, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.
ANALYSIS
Lane's decision to transfer creates a big gap in Longwood's talent pool, as he had an explosive year. Averaging 17.1 points and 7.3 rebounds, he toppled his averages from his previous season of 8.7 and 6.2, and could very well sneak into the starting lineup of another program. Since Lane is graduating and will be a graduate student next year, he will not be required to sit out, and will be eligible to compete during the 2017-18 season.
