RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Daniels (knee) is inactive Friday against Hamilton, Danny Austin of the Calgary Sun reports.

It was projected early in the week that Daniels was going to be able to play Friday, but after a mid-week setback his return is going to have to wait at least one more week. Calgary's next game will be Oct. 20 against Saskatchwan, so look for Daniels to possibly be back in time for that one.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Daniels (knee) is listed on the depth chart as the No. 3 wide receiver ahead of Friday's game against Hamilton, Danny Austin of the Calgary Sun reports.

Although Daniels was experiencing soreness after suffering a setback during Monday's practice, it looks like he will be back in action for Friday's contest against the Tiger-Cats. However, since he is normally a starter and is listed, that could signal he will only be available in an emergency.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Daniels (knee) suffered a setback during Monday's practice, Danny Austin of the Calgary Sun reports.

Daniels was hoping to return for Friday's game against the Tiger-Cats, but his status is up in the air after experiencing renewed soreness in his ailing knee. His status for Friday's game should become clearer later in the week.

October 10, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Daniels (knee) could return to action Friday against the Tiger-Cats, the Calgary Herald reports.

Daniels nearly played in Calgary's last game in Week 15, but the team decided to take advantage of a Week 16 bye and give him what turned out to be a full month to recover. His status for Friday's contest will ultimately be determined later this week.

September 28, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Daniels (knee) will not play in Friday's game against the Alouettes.

Despite Daniels practicing Wednesday, he still is not healthy enough to make his return to the field. It appears as though a return next week is likely, but in his absence, Reggie Begelton will once again get the start at slotback.

September 27, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Daniels (knee) participated during Wednesday's practice, Danny Austin of the Calgary Sun & Herald reports.

Daniels has been sidelined since early September with a knee injury, but has seemingly made enough progress to go through practice Wednesday. He should be considered questionable in advance of Friday's game against the Alouettes. If he's ultimately unable to go, expect the likes of Marquay McDaniel and Juwan Brescacin to see more snaps at slotback.

September 23, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Daniels (knee) will not play Sunday for the second week in a row.

Daniels will remain sidelined for at least one more week as he works his way back from his knee injury. Reggie Begelton will get another start at the slotback position in Daniels' absence.

September 15, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Daniels (knee) will not play in Saturday's game against the Lions.

This doesn't come as much of a surprise given that Daniels was unable to practice Thursday, but the team didn't believe the knee injury was that serious, so it's unlikely Daniels' absence extends much further beyond this week. Marquay McDaniel will serve as the team's primary slotback in his absence.

September 14, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Daniels (knee) did not take part in Thursday's practice, according to Danny austin of the Calgary Sun.

Head coach Dave Dickenson does not believe the injury that forced Daniels from last week's game is serious, but it is apparently still slowing him enough to keep him sidelined. His status for Calgary's next game Saturday against BC is uncertain.

September 11, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Coach Dave Dickenson said he didn't think Daniels' injury was overly serious.

Daniels had to leave Saturday's game against the Eskimos early following an apparent right knee injury and was unable to return. The good news is that it doesn't appear to be an overly serious injury and should keep Daniels from missing extended action. That said, his status for Saturday's matchup against the Lions has yet to be released, so look for another update later this week.

September 9, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Daniels is doubtful to return to Saturday night's game against the Eskimos after suffering an apparent right knee injury, Danny Austin of the Calgary Sun & Herald reports.

Daniels went down in the first quarter and tested his knee out on a stationary bike before receiving the doubtful designation. The 24-year-old finishes the evening with just two catches for five yards.

September 4, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Daniels caught three passes for a team-high 98 yards in Monday's 39-18 win over Edmonton.

The second-year receiver now has 35 catches for 590 yards and four TDs through nine games, solid numbers that are nonetheless well off the pace he set in his rookie season. Expect Daniels to remain one of Bo Levi Mitchell's top targets for the remainder of the year.

August 27, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Daniels caught eight passes for 114 yards and two touchdowns in Saturday's 23-7 win over the Argos.

It was Daniels' best performance of the season and the eight catches were a career high, but the second-year wideout has been very hit and miss this season -- he now has 21 catches for 359 yards and four TDs in his best four games, but just 11 catches for 133 yards and zero scores in the other four. He should become a little more consistent as he matures, but until that begins to happen he'll remain a volatile fantasy option.

August 3, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Daniels caught four passes for 76 yards and a touchdown in Thursday's 41-24 win over the Argos.

The 24-year-old hasn't been able to match the pace he set last season as a rookie in 11 games, but Daniels is still on pace for his first 1,000-yard campaign in 2017 if he can stay healthy and continue to develop chemistry with Bo Levi Mitchell.

August 2, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Daniels will start at slotback in Thursday's game against the Argonauts.

Daniels has started at wide receiver all season, but he has not been able to get much going, so the Stampeders will use him at slotback this week in place of the injured Kamar Jorden (knee). If Daniels sees the same volume of targets as Jorden -- he led the team with 49 passes his direction through six games -- this could be the week he breaks out.

July 14, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Daniels caught five passes for 79 yards and a touchdown in Friday's 30-23 loss to the Alouettes.

The score was his first of the season after he hauled in nine TDs as a CFL rookie in 2016. Daniels seems to be the third option right now in Calgary's dangerous passing game behind Marquay McDaniel and the emerging Kamar Jorden, but that's still a role that offers plenty of fantasy value.

July 6, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Daniels (shoulder) will start at wide receiver in Friday's game against the Blue Bombers.

Daniels sat out last week after injuring his shoulder in Week 1, but Calgary's depth chart indicates that will be the extent of his absence. Several Calgary receivers are off to hot starts, but Daniels racked up 90 receiving yards in Week 1, so don't be surprised if he immediately reclaims his spot as the top option in the passing game for quarterback Bo Levi Mitchell.

July 3, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Daniels (shoulder) could return to action for Friday's game against the Blue Bombers.

Daniels sat out last week's game with a shoulder injury suffered in Week 1, but he was able to get on the practice field Monday, and could return to action this week if he continues to demonstrate improvement. A final call on Daniels' status will be made later this week.

June 28, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Daniels (shoulder) was placed on the one-game injured list in advance of Thursday's matchup with the Redblacks.

Daniels was not expected to play this week due to the shoulder injury he suffered in Week 1, and that will indeed be the case. It was originally thought that Daniels' setback was more severe than it actually is, and his placement on the one-game injured list means he will have a chance to return to action in Week 3. Marken Michel will enter the starting lineup Thursday in Daniels' place.

June 26, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

The upper-body injury Daniels suffered in Friday's game against the Redblacks is not as serious as originally anticipated, but it's unlikely he will play this week.

While it looks like Daniels' injury will cost him further action, the good news is he does not appear to be facing a long-term absence. A final call on Daniels' status for Week 2 will be made in a couple days.

June 23, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Daniels suffered an apparent neck injury in Friday's tie against the Redbacks, Matthew Scianitti of TSN.CA reports.

Head coach Dave Dickenson indicated following the game that the injury could potentially be long term. Daniels recorded 90 yards on four receptions prior to sustaining the injury. He was coming off an impressive rookie season, in which he hauled in 51 passes for 885 yards and nine touchdowns in 11 games. Expect an update on the injury when the team provides more information.

June 23, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Daniels caught four passes for 90 yards in Friday's 31-31 tie with the Redblacks.

After a very impressive rookie season in the CFL that saw him haul in 51 passes for 885 yards and nine TDs in just 11 games last year, Daniels could be poised for a huge 2017 as the deep threat for Bo Levi Mitchell in a dangerous Calgary passing attack.

June 22, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Daniels will start at wide receiver in Friday's season opener against the Redblacks.

Daniels did not see any action for the Stampeders last year until Week 9, but he was the team's top receiver from that point onward, racking up 1,081 yards and 10 touchdowns over 13 games (including postseason action). Expect him to again be a favorite target of quarterback Bo Levi Mitchell in 2017.

November 28, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Daniels caught seven passes for 89 yards and added two carries for 33 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 39-33 loss to Ottawa in the 104th Grey Cup.

The rookie had a huge finish to the season that carried over into the playoffs, and Daniels figures to be a big part of Calgary's elite passing game in 2017 and beyond.

November 21, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Daniels caught four passes for 107 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 42-15 win over the Lions in the Western Final.

The rookie emerged as a big-play threat for the Stamps down the stretch during the regular season, and he's continued that momentum into the playoffs. Expect Daniels to see plenty of downfield looks from Bo Levi Mitchell on Sunday against Ottawa in the 104th Grey Cup.

October 22, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Daniels caught three passes for 94 yards and two touchdowns in Friday's win over the Argos.

That's now five TDs in four games, and nine scores in nine games, for Daniels, who has emerged this season as a big-play threat in the Stampeders' offense. The rookie is 151 yards shy of 1000 for the year, but he'll get only one more chance to reach that mark in Calgary's final game of the regular season, Oct. 30 in Montreal.

October 11, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Daniels tallied 126 yards and a touchdown on five receptions in Monday's 48-20 victory over the Argos.

The 23-year-old continued what has been a breakout season with his second straight 100-yard performance and fourth overall. Daniels once again contributed multiple big plays, including a 42-yard catch and a 61-yard catch-and-run for a score. The speedster has clearly become one of Bo Levi Mitchell's favorite targets in what has been perhaps the best overall offensive unit in the CFL, rendering him a highly viable fantasy option every week.

October 2, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Daniels totaled 123 yards and a pair of touchdowns on five receptions and added 25 yards on his sole rush in Saturday's 36-17 win over the Ti-Cats.

The wideout continues to make significant contributions during the Stamps' stellar run, notching his third 100-yard performance over his seven games. Daniels scored on a 16-yard strike in the first quarter and added a spectacular 59-yard grab in the second quarter. The Notre Dame product has at least four catches in each game this season while increasingly serving as a vital cog in Calgary's high-octane attack.

September 18, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Daniels managed 34 yards and a touchdown on four receptions and added nine yards on one rush in Saturday's 48-23 victory over the Redblacks.

He continues to show up on the stat sheet, with Saturday's score his third over the last two games, and fourth overall on the season. Daniels has tallied at least four catches in each of his first five games, with two 100-yards performances over that span as well. While his numbers figure to fluctuate week-to-week, he's obviously an important complementary cog in a high-powered offense.

September 11, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Daniels managed 113 yards and two touchdowns on six catches in Saturday's 34-28 overtime victory over the Eskimos.

The Notre Dame product put together his second 100-yard performance in the last three games and tallied his first multi-touchdown effort of the season in the process. He made a tough 30-yard touchdown catch in tight coverage on his first score, and hauled in a 27-yard strike to cap off a nine-play, 68-yard drive for the second visit to the end zone. Daniels has become one of Bo Levi Mitchell's favorite targets, with no fewer than four catches in any of the four contests he's played in.

August 29, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Daniels caught five passes for 108 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's win over the Tiger-Cats.

In just his second career CFL game, Daniels stepped up in a big way when the Hamilton defense made it a priority to keep Marquay McDaniel from beating them. The Stamps have too many weapons in their passing game for the rookie to be productive every week, but Daniels appears to be rapidly earning the trust of QB Bo Levi Mitchell.

August 18, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Daniels will get his first CFL start in Friday's matchup with the Tiger-Cats, Scott Mitchell of the Toronto Sun reports.

The Notre Dame product will get his first CFL action of the year Friday. Daniels posted 745 yards, seven touch downs, and 49 receptions in 2013 at Notre Dame.
