Nick Marshall

Marshall started slowly last season as he broke into new coach Gus Malzahn's offense, but within a few weeks it became apparent that the speedy Marshall was a perfect fit for the deceptive, run-heavy scheme. Defenses couldn't account for the running threats in the Auburn backfield, and Marshall was a big reason why. He ran for 780 yards (6.7 YPC) and 10 touchdowns in the final eight weeks, throwing for 10 touchdowns over that same span. Marshall is a bit of a durability worry since he runs so often at just 6-1, 210, however. He dealt with knee and shoulder issues during 2013, so his owners should secure reliable backup options.
