Dodd could start Saturday's game against Arkansas, as Gary Nova is uncertain with a concussion.
ANALYSIS
Nova left last week's game in the first quarter with a concussion. Dodd replaced him but threw only nine passes, as the offense leaned on running back Paul James. If Nova, who practiced on a limited basis Tuesday, can't go, Dodd will start behind center.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2012
2011
Dodd shared time with Gary Nova at quarterback in 2011. The duo put up relatively similar numbers, but Dodd had the better completion percentage (56.7 percent), threw fewer interceptions (seven) and threw for barely more yards (1,574). He also added 10 touchdowns. Still, Dodd will be backup heading into 2012 and has no value.
Dodd improbably took the starting Rutgers quarterback spot from Tom Savage last year and never gave it up. The unheralded recruit isn't big or fast and doesn't have a cannon for an arm, but he has impressed with his competitiveness and knack for doing the little things right. In any case, his fantasy upside is likely limited in Rutgers' run-heavy, pro-style offense. But very few quarterbacks in the nation have as much skill position talent around them as Dodd does--Mark Harrison, Mohamed Sanu, Brandon Coleman, Timothy Wright and Miles Shuler might be the best wideout lineup in the nation, and the combo of Jeremy Deering and Savon Huggins at running back is also impressive. The Rutgers offensive line, on the other hand, is not nearly as impressive.
