Pressley matched a season-low for carries and finished with his second-lowest rushing yardage total of the year in Saturday's contest, but still managed to reach the end zone for the fourth time in five starts. The senior exits Week 8 with a team-high 96 carries and tied with Teriyon Gipson for a team-best five rushing touchdowns, but ranked third in total rushing yards (449) behind Gipson (502) and quarterback Lamar Jordan (455 yards). Pressley enjoys a bye in Week 9 before facing off against one of the better rush defense in the country in Utah State on Nov. 7.

Pressley was just a part-time player for New Mexico in 2013, but he proved to be an enormous big-play threat off the bench, averaging 9.4 yards per carry and scoring six times on just 29 carries, good for 273 yards. With previous New Mexico workhorse Kasey Carrier no longer around, Pressley will need to step up into a significantly bigger workload this year, making him look like a good bet to hit the 1,000-yard mark for the first time in his New Mexico career.
