Coach Jim Harbaugh named Perry (hip) a captain for Saturday's Peach Bowl matchup with Florida, Aaron McMann of MLive.com reports.
ANALYSIS
With linebacker Devin Bush and running back Karan Higdon sitting out the bowl game to prepare for the 2019 NFL Draft, Perry will serve as one of four captains for Michigan in the season finale. It's also an indication Perry has moved past the hip pointer that limited the wideout in Michigan's last contest Nov. 24 against Ohio State. Perry, who has recorded 18 receptions for 131 yards on the season, will likely work in a depth role behind starters Donovan Peoples-Jones and Nico Collins in the final game of his collegiate career.
