Pick made the switch to receiver from quarterback midway through the 2010 campaign after losing his starting job to Jordan Webb. He made strides in 2011, finding the starting lineup and catching the second most passes on the team. The improvement in quarterback from Webb to Dayne Crist should only help his numbers, and his knowledge as a former quarterback should help distinguish himself from the pack of wide receivers fighting for playing time.
Pick is a major running threat and the favorite to take over the Kansas offense. He ran for 167 yards on 14 carries as a freshman last year, and completed 4-of-5 passes for 22 yards. Watch out for a quarterback committee between him and Jordan Webb, as Webb offers more as a passer, but Pick's excellent mobility makes him an intriguing gamble pick in Big 12-only leagues.
