Updating on a previous report, head coach Kirby Smart said Friday that Chubb (ankle) will be a game-time decision for Georgia's game against Tennessee, Matt Jennings of the AJC's SEC Country Blog reports. "Nick has improved in the last probably 48 hours immensely. We're going to go out tomorrow in warmups, see how he does and if the medical staff clears him, he is going to play," said Smart on the Paul Finebaum Show Friday.
Chubb (ankle) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against Tennessee, Chip Towers of the Atlanta Journal Constitution reports. "He's got that high-ankle sprain. He twisted it trying to make a cut against Ole Miss...The doctor said he'd need a couple weeks, so he'll probably play next week," said Chubb's father Friday afternoon.
